Hayley Bridges Design is a boutique interior design company that operates out of Santa Barbara, California. We accommodate various project types whether they be remodel or new construction. We pride ourselves in approaching each project with a fresh eye and enjoy using our client's vision as the road map through the design process.

Our Mission

Home...the word in itself conjures up warmth, comfort, and love. Why is it that a home is not simply a roof, a floor and walls? It is because we experience life inside of those walls, and give love and meaning to what we keep within. Home should therefore be more than just a space to claim on earth, but a haven of health and happiness. Our mission is to make your home beautiful and comfortable, elegant and interesting, but more importantly, a place you want to live. The state of a home greatly affects the health and happiness of everyone living in it. This is why we design. This is why we strive to make our clients home their favorite place to be.

Our Team

Hayley Bridges, Allied ASID

Owner, Principal Designer

Hayley's passion for design started at a young age after her family decided to move to Santa Barbara in 1994.  With each prospective home her family toured, Hayley fantasized about how she would redesign each room and personalize the home. Once happily rooted in Santa Barbara, her family found time to travel for both work and pleasure. This valuable time spent exploring new cultures and cities brought Hayley an additional love of design and adventure. Her enjoyment for utilizing her creativity initially led her to Loyola Marymount University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in English. Not able to shake her interest in interior design, Hayley continued her education, receiving a Masters of Interior Architecture from UCLA/Cal Poly Pomona joint program in 2011.  Ready to put her education to use, Hayley joined SFA Design, a luxury interior design firm in Santa Barbara that specializes in hospitality and high end residential design. While at SFA, Hayley worked on specialty projects that expanded her knowledge in both residential and hotel design. Eager to grow in her field, Hayley opened a furniture boutique in 2013. The store came to be known for Hayley's custom furniture designs and unique layered atmosphere. In 2014 Hayley felt the call back to interior design and opened Hayley Bridges Design. Hayley continues to love the creative and analytical side of design. She takes on each project as a unique puzzle and enjoys working with her clients to create a space they love living in. Hayley designs out of Santa Barbara, CA.

Hayley Margaret Slye, Allied ASID

Junior Designer

Yes, you read that correctly, our other team member is also a Hayley! Hayley Margaret Slye grew up between the Bay Area and Orange County, the daughter of an architectural draftsman and a business executive. Since childhood, she has been pulling inspiration from unlikely places and creating art. In 2018, Slye left a career in sports PR and earned an Interior Design Professional Certificate of Achievement from Saddleback College. Slye joined Hayley Bridges Design in 2021 and has loved helping create beautiful, functional spaces.  Outside of work, Slye loves a spooky story, a day at the ballpark (still) and her all-black Chihuahua mix, Cash.
