This lovely guest house is set on a beautiful property originally designed by George Washington Smith, a famous architect known for the Spanish Colonial Revival style in the early 1900s. For this project, we used clean lines and a pleasing color scheme to blend our clients’ modern style with the building's historic architecture. To meet the needs of this flexible space, we created a smart floor plan featuring a wheeled ottoman and a cozy sofa bed for extra guests. This design allows the guest house to serve as an office when not hosting visitors. In the small bathroom, we added an interior window in the shower to make the room feel larger, while a natural wood mirror and a bright green vanity bring character. We also included smart storage solutions and space-saving ideas to enhance functionality while maintaining an elegant look.
